Looking for a Nitro Kit
I'm looking for a 1/8 kit build for a nitro on-road rally car for bashing. Although I have been in this hobby for a little over 2 years during that time I have built several electric kits and a gas Baja SS.
All the nitros I've owned in the past I have sold, and all of them were RTR so Ihave no experience at all in building or maintaing nitro cars. Any suggestions would certainly be appreciated!

RE: Looking for a Nitro Kit
I have been looking at the DM-1 for a while. How does Kyosho's DRX compare?
I'm looking for a dirt basher that can handle decently on a large scale on-road track.
Thanks!

Went through that myself.. I was looking at the DRX, but decided against it because it's only single-speed, and though surely fun in curves and for drifting, it won't have the speed I want. I like everything about the car except that it's sure to have a really lame top-speed..
So I got a DM-1. Haven't had a chance to run it yet though cuz it's winter...
I got the 1/7 kit(see in the DM-1 thread..) Nice quality, fun build..(it's really half built already, but still...)
I also considered the Kyosho inferno GT2, but thought they seemed crappy quality. And you need mods to sort out their apparently perpetual 2-speed problems..
For a strictly on-road kit basher, DM-1 all the way..

RE: Looking for a Nitro Kit
Wow that's definitely an awesome video! The DM-1 is definitely a solid on-road beast, but like I mentioned earlier this car will see a bit of dirt and sand.
Does anyone have experience with the IGT1?
