Hello everyone,

I would like to convert my nitro 4 tec to a 3 speed. Is this possible? Maybe use the Schumacher Fusion parts. Looking for more speed.

Anything is possible (within reason), but trying to convert the Schumacher 3 speed would not be easy..and if you are asking I would say do not bother.
You are looking for more speed, so my question is what engine/pipe/gear ratio are you running?
If the car is standard I would be looking at changing the engine/pipe and gear ratio for more speed.
Of course if the engine is not tuned correctly this will also limit the top speed..or if you are not using the correct plug/fuel/head shims will also limit the top speed...etc...etc.

It's a stock 3.3 4 tec. The only thing I changed are the gears. I am looking to improve the top end speed without sacrificing to much acceleration.

i have a Schumacher fusionit was a three speed but now its a one speed now the gearing on it is a 30 pinon gear anda 36 spur gear with a RB 21 it never been clocked before

I was just reading your posts on the one speed, I just noticed your from Miami. I'm also in Miami I am look for some where to run my car. Where do you drive your car?

Nice! So you think it would be better to go with a single speed instead of multiple speeds? My idea it to get to the highest speed possible fast. I dont want to take a mile to get to say 90 mph.

if he can hit 81 mph you might can hit 90 no telling

The single speed will take longer to get there but ultimately will be faster as it has less rotating weight.
