Hello i bought this car a while back, did some work on it, but not much, previous owner put a new engine on it. i think this is the rs3 chassis. well here are the pictures.

I would your initial thoughts on it. And what parts should i upgrade. i wanna compete in the .12 category, s this car capable? aside from driver experience, beleive me im practicing everyday.


I'm planning on upgrading to a 2.4ghz controller wich should pull me back at leas a couple hundred on futaba, a friend bough a chinese one, reliable so far for under a hundred, i would like to hear ur opinnion on that too. thanks

That appears to be a Novarossi engine, CX12 possibly. It's a good starter motor for racing. The car itself is entirely capable, but a lot of what makes a car good is in the set up. You may have to buy a few sets of springs, play around with the camber/toe, buy a set of sway bars, and experiment with different tires. The tires on there are crap.
