2-Speed Thunder Tiger Upgrade
Hello All,
I'm a noob to all this rc stuff, so I appreciate all the discussions here for me to read up on.
Currently I own a Thunder Tiger Tomahawk MX. Neat car, but I was really going for the VX, which is the "hopped-up" model. That being said, I wanted the 2-speed that came with the VX. So here is the list of things you need if you would like to upgrade too!
PD9067 Clutch Bell
PD9069 Gears for clutch bell
PD9176 Complete Transmission
But, one thing is missing from the kit, and its very important, a 5x8x2.5 ball bearing for the clutch bell. You can re-use the rest of the hardware from the single speed.
The transmission comes with instructions, and the clutch bell assembly is pretty straight forward.
Hopefully this helps someone wanting to upgrade their transmission in a Thunder Tiger Tomahawk.
