Default Beginner looking for suggestions on a good starter kit

I just recently bought my first rc car but it is electric and I really want to get into the nitro scene any suggestions for a good starter kit that's not to expensive?

2 of the most popular and supported nitro cars for beginners would be the HPI rs4-3 and the associated NTC3. You can pretty much find parts for those 2 anywhere. A 3rd choice would probably be the Traxxas 4tec but its really fas and needs some adjusting for it to be a great badger car. As the first 2, the parts are very available.

i know alot of guys call them all cars are you looking for a onroad car or just any nitro rc for a good price
i say this coz a traxxas jato is a truck but most call it a car
with that in mind are you looking for rwd 4x4 1/10 1/8
i had some call my tmaxx a car also
