The 4Tec out of the box does 65-70MPH, its plenty fast. If this is your first car you'll be good.
PS: If you get the car do yourself a favor tho, grab the stock tires. Throw them in the trash pick up a set of foams tires on day one you'll never regret it.

EThis would actaully be my second touring car. My first was a Himoto Rapida 2 speed which was a complete piece of ****. The engine kept stalling, the muffler screws kept coming loose, the engine kept getting loose, and the transmission gears kept stripping. Does the Traxxas 4Tec have any reliability issues?
