Default Do I need a new clutch

Hi need to pick some of your brains, I been busy putting one of my cheaper nitro cars back together again. I thought I had cracked it this morning after i had it blipping out the front of my house all smoovely,
But then when I took it to the track to have a proper go got one length up and it didn't sound great shifting into second gear seemed a lot slower than usual, the disaster the car just stopped and lost all drive, it revs fine but no drive what's so ever is it time for a new clutch as it's still on original one and I have been told generally the first part to where out is the clutch.
Any advise or ideas be appreciated!!!

Without taking it apart and looking then it would be hard to say that the problem is definitely the clutch.......when you rev the engine is the clutchbell turning?

Did you notice if the engine was spinning the trans gears when it was revved. If it wasn't it's probably the clutch on the engine. If it was and this looks like yours, look at the trans. Could be the one way bearing or the drive pin or the clutch in the trans. Also first check the drive shafts, drive cups, and set screws etc. It would be highly unusual but if it lost power to one wheel front and back it would just send power to those and just rev.
