Default OFNA Hyper GT new engine

Good evening,

I own the Ofna Hyper GT 1/8 http://www.ofna.com/pdf/14362%20HYPER%20GTmanual.pdf ) with that engine (http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/dia...MacStar_28.pdf) .

I am wondering if the following two engines fit my car and the chassis or maybe some mounting bases will be needed. Besides that what about the muffler fitting these engines too? Are there any incompatibility issues that I may face?

http://www.lrp-americastore.com/nitr...lstart-spec-3/
http://www.lrp-americastore.com/lrp-...c-2-pullstart/

P.S. You think i will need new transmission due to the +25% HP difference of the MAC STAR and the LRPs or any other advanced/additional parts to be upgraded?

Thank your for your time in advance!

Hello sir, I also have a Hyper GT. Love it! Never loved the macstar. I replaced mine with a Novarossi .21. I think either of those would be fine replacements from LRP but I have heard you need to do some minor adjustments of the mount to get them to fit. The gearing is fine as is. Its all steel already, the diffs are all steel, there is no transmission unless you are calling the centrifugal first gear to second gear device a transmission. You should be fine with those power plants, you will just have a lot of torque off the line, more than you need really but still good choices. I also find that the Axial engines 28 rr or 32 rr will both fit fine with no modifications.
