HPI T3.0 and G3.0???
I need some info on these two engines. What is the difference between the T3.0 and the G3.0? The T3.0 comes in the RS4 3 Evo+ and the G3.0 comes in the Drift cars. The G is rated higher HP than the T. Is the only difference in these two engines the piston and sleeve used or what? Anyone have any experience with either? Thanks.

RE: HPI T3.0 and G3.0???
Couldn't find the hp ratings on the T3.0. The HPI site says its 2.2hp for the G3.0. Other than that the differences seem to be that the T3.0 has a 6.5mm carb vs 5.5mm for the G3.0

The T3 is the off-road version of the G3. Produces its max torque and rpm lower than the G3 does. That's the reason they use it for drift. Lower reving to avid overheating during drift and more torque at low rpms wich is the zone of rpm that keeps the tires at optimum sliding.

how about as far as the piston, sleeve and crank shaft? What could be used to replace what’s in the 3.0ho
