Kyosho V One S belt tensioner
I'm not sure if I should post this here or in the classics forum. Since I'm here, here it goes....Looking at buying a used V1S and I noticed it doesn't have the belt tensioner. In the online manual it shows the install of the tensioner under "Installation of Optional Parts": https://www.manualslib.com/manual/47...page=27#manual
So question: assuming a stock engine is this part really optional? Anyone know when these kits were new if the tensioner came with these kits or did you have to buy them separately? IMHO it should have been standard from the get go seeing how far the shafts stick out unsupported and the flex and belt skipping and other issues that can occur without it.
