Default Introduce me to Nitro RS4s!

Hey all, I got into the hobby with nitro about 7 years ago but never spent much time with it. I miss it greatly, though, and the fun that comes from tinkering and tuning so I'm going back to it and getting an HPI Nitro RS4. I believe it's the RS4 3 model. It's shaft driven with the engine toward the back of the chassis with side exit exhaust. I'll post pics below. The car was run a little bit but then sold to a friend who bought it in a lot and now I'll be acquiring it very soon. With that said, are there any tips, tricks, or secrets I should know about the Nitro RS4? I'm having a hard time finding out exactly what engine it has. Provided it's all stock, which motor should I expect to find in it? It hasn't been run for quite some time so aside from checking compression, cleaning out fuel lines and carb, installing an air filter, and throwing in a fresh glow plug and tank of fuel, are there any other cool tricks I should know before I start it? I apologize for the "newbie" questions but I'm the type that likes to soak in information like a sponge so I'd love to hear any info that folks more experienced than I can share. Thanks, all!
