LOL
can you send me a pic of the wheels off the rear and just the rear shot. i am trying to imagine mine, see i have a rear exhaust so there is nothing there where your exhaust is.

I just got my street Force GP by the way and also i have no idea on how to post pictures on up here.

Also what else suspension would fit DuraTrax Street Force GP except the stock one. The stock one sucks.

Very good job on your car Gabry

TAM,
almost any shocks that say 1/10 scale should fit, i mean there are alot of companies that make shocks. just make sure you get car shocks.
hot bodies, hpi, gpm, and the list goes on.
what have you done to your car yet?
did you find the other web site?

No i have not found the web site.

My car is basically stock since i got it on friday.
I already ordered a belt tensioner set, and I got a Throttel return spring instead of getting a fail safe.

There is some thing weird going on with my car, when i press on the triger slowly to go forward, my car gains speed for about 3 seconds and then the engine keeps running but the car doesn't go forward anymore.

Can you please help me out with this.

Right now on my car I have the 17T ( purple ) clutch gear, In my tool box I have a 19T ( green ) clutch gear. If I wanted to put on the 19T clutch gear would I have to change the spur gear or anything else??? Would this mod make my car faster???

Also I have a traxxas .15 engine. Is it possible to put that engine on the Street Force GP, and would it increase the performance of the car????

thanks

Tam,
is the motor a stock motor? if so it really wont do that much more for u. i mean if you want crazy fast then get a turbo motor, but you will have to get it non-pull start. i mean they make crazy fast motors pull start but for some reason(technical) the starter box is BETTER.
as for the clutch bell. if you change your teeth on the front u have to change your teeth on the rear and vice-verse. i am still trying to find the logic as to why but......... as far as i can tell you, the stock set up will give you top speed, but if you change that you are either adding more take off and less top speed or vice-verse again.
i hope this can help you.
oh if you want to post pics, send gabry a email he has his cars pics up here. thats who i was gonna ask how, once i got the camera in.

look i dont want to insult anyone or hurt any feelings but duratrax cars dont look very "cutting edge", they look a few years behind. the street force gp looks like an old rs4, do they drive better than they look?

And so what's the problem?
Did someone tell that SFGP is "cutting edge technology"?I don't think so....
This car is a good beginner vehicle, with a very good price. You won't find an RTR car with such great performance at a lower price. And once loaded with hop up, it's able to smoke on the track even better car.I speak for my experience, i beat kyosho vone r and mugen with my little beast.
Yes if i pick up my ntc3 team version it's another story, but alsothe price is another story.....

Tam,
i tried to see what you wanted to be looked at and the links dont work. i tried both. what are they, are they spur gears? i noticed the 42 and 43 number in the link? if they are, only duratrax will work.
check this site. rc tek(together).com and and click the technical part on the top screen. this will take you to a part of the site that talks about the bell an spur gears in depth.
i hope this site will help you understand.
i makes sense to me but i am still a novice to this.

Gab,
yeah i am stil waiting om my camera, if they didn't contact me within this week i was gonna get my money back but they sent me something yesterday, anyway i had looked at the things Tam wants and they are the powerline a-arms front and back. see radiocontrolzone .com
are you a member of that site? it has a real duratrax manufacture thread.
anyway i told him that the front wont fit but the rear will. i wonder if hpi steering knuckle and c-hub fit our car. i never tried those,
HEY SOMEBODY SHOULD TRY IT... just make sure your LHS will take stuff back if they dont fit. i really think they do, just change the bearing and cvd's. the only thing i know wont fit is the -arms- they are toooo wide at the base of the arm.
i can talk forever about this stuff, i mean i went thru alot of parts and returned alot but never tried the front. DAMN!!!!!!!!!!
ok i hope this helps,.
just a update i just changed my rcsrews to ofna colored screws, i found that clutch its the serpent centax clutch 1, i got my servos, futaba 3004 for the throttle and 925 for the steering, and a futaba 2peka radio(used).
i just need to get the rearbulkheads and the pullies, which i just ordered and get the lighter chassis plus get clutch installed-sg crankshaft.
and then on to the next r/c.
buggy or truck????????????????
1/8 or 1/10????????????????????
