I assume you have the Plus so that means you have the AM radio. There, most likely, is your problem. If you run in a urban enviro or at a large event with a lot of interference you'll get that with an AM.

If it's an FM, check your crystals, make sure your antenna is screwed in tight and check all your wires as well. A good way to test your crystal without trying a different one, move your TX all around and if the servos jerk in response then it's probably your crystal. (or worse a loose wire/solder in the TX eeek! )

thanks iacolb for the input but i did find the problem, evidently i replaced the battries in the tx with dead battries "heres your sign"

OH MY GOODNESS GUY!!!.... Ok, lemme recap a bit... Remember about a few months ago I told you I got my NTC3+ and I had a LRP Z.12R to strap into it after breaking it in with the stock engine and then later I said I ordered the rear exhaust parts? Well I got them yeaterday and finished strapping them in today and WOW!!! This engine has some real sick RPMs and I haven't pushed second yet. It keeps on backing out the engine screws though, that kinda scares me. Gonna thread lock it though. Changed to some Futaba Servos too. I'm gonna take pics and post them for you guys maybe tonight. Catch ya'll later

Got 5 tanks through my os .12 tz turbo modded. she's running real rich blowing good smoke, doesn't seem to have woken up at all yet, but then again I haven't twisted up the needles just yet.

definately showing real potential though.

Does anyone know of a place where I can gat a race set-up for the TC-3? Toe, camber, shocks and all that stuff any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Nice! How is that engine? I've been thinking of getting one. My o.s. is tired and I've been showin slow lap times this season. That is my next powerplant I think.

Well, I haven't changed any settings on it yet and stock, it keeps up with my friend's Mario Modified Novarossi .15 big block and thats really fast. I got some ratios from LRP and AE specifically designed to accelerate like the stock AE15 but with more top speed and it does just that. Here's something else, THE ENGINE IT STILL RICH!!!. LOL, you can hear that the bottom end is rich and so you already know thats more acceleration yet to come. Loads more rpms than the AE15 and you're gonna need to thread lock the screws. Great engine to step up to [8D]

Well guys, I leaned out the bottom end a 1/4 notch and all hell broke loose. I stripped first and second gear in one run. how that heppened I don't know. I fixed the problem and returned to factory and its cool again. I wonder if I should try doing it again. I'm looking to put my AE15 in another TC3 but not a TC3+ along with a Futaba fail safe receiver and a Mugen clutch. I have one question though I haven't been able to get a good answer to though. How does a clutch boost car performance and I see you guys are asking about Centrax clutches, whats the big deal about them?

hi i have an ntc3 team kit with a team infinity .12 on it, just got it past break in but now the engine keeps shaking loose. the screws are all still pretty tight though, i will be driving it at full speed down the block and when i go to bring it back, all i hear is a reving engine but the car no go. the engine kinda just shifts enough so that the gears dont touch. is it my gear mesh?

I HAVE A TC3 +,...MINE HAS JUST BEEN BROKE -IN AND IT IS NO SLOUCH . I OWN A TAXXAS JATO THAT IS FAST. I'LL RUN ONE, THEN THE OTHER ON A LONG 600 FT PAVED SURFACE AND THEIR TOP END SPEEDS SEEM ALMOST THE SAME TO ME. THE JATO DOES HAVE HAS FASTER ACCELRATION. I ESTIMATE THEY BOTH CAN HIT 45 MPH. THAT'S NOT BAD FOR A RTR WITH A STOCK ENGINE. CHECK SOME OTHER THREADS. SOME PEOPLE HAVE PUT RADAR GUNS ON THEM. ALTHOUGH THIS LAST WINTER AT 45 DEGREES F. MY JATO WAS CLOCKED BY A INEXPENSIVE RADAR GUN AT 50 MPH. BUT DURING THESE HOT FLORIDA SUMMERS I DOUDT I COULD GET IT THAT FAST. ANYWAY... PROPERLY TUNED THE TC3 PLUS DOES GOOD. IT'S FASTER THAN A RS4 EVO. I HAVE ONE OF THOSE TOO.

Put a small piece of paper between the gears, sqeeze the gears together, tighten the screws (w/ loctite on them), and pull the paper out. Bam, good gearmesh and tight engine.

Hi, ive got a ntc3 u wont b disapointed wen u get it there great and FAST first time i started it up after breaking it in not remembering that ive been used 2 driving a savage around which acceleration is sh1t compared to the tc3 i put it straight into a wall had 2 get both nu turnbuckles at the front and a new foam bumper[:@] ,im just thinkin what would be better hardcore racings titanium upper deck or k-factorys 3mm carbon fibre? i think ill probably go for k-factory

i have a question guys i have tc3 plus i took the motor out for now but when i was using it, i had the car runnin and when i would move it, it would go then jitter then stop i think it is the failsafe kicking in but it is doing right in fron of me do you guys know what this problem could be cause i want to get a os in this car and get this problem fixed cuase the weather is getting reallll nice

hey Guys i Have a NTC3 + and i am wondering after 3 tanks today drifting and running hi speeds on the 3rd tank the car wont move just the engine Rev. and moves in slow speeds if u full throttle it will stop and the engine will rev. only Why is that happening [&:]

the batteries are brand new reciever and car on my gt there is no problem same failsafe everything but this car stutters when i move it right in front of me it just like stops do you think i need a fm channel radio? but i wouldnt think so cause the gt remote is the same thing so do you think it can be the reciever? cause this cAR has not even seen the light of day yet outside thats how little it was used
