O.S. .18 Rear exhaust
Ive looked everywhere, but I cant seem to find a .18 size engine from O.S. thats uses a slide carb, pilot shaft, and has a rear exhaust. Can anyone linke me to one? I found this one, but I cant tell if its a rear or side exhaust, cause they dont specify. Thanks

Its a side exhaust engine. If you look at the manual on tower, you will be able to see that its a side exhaust engine. Look on page 31 of the manual.

well, sorry to say but, you wont find a .18 o.s. engine that has a slide carb and sg crankshaft, but i have done some researche and got you some choices here, i will give you the link to the page, look in the "other size engines" category and look at these :
1-Fantom FR18
2-Sirio Tx-18
3-Yokomo ZE-RX18RES
This should give you an idea, there aren't many choices, I'm not sure if the fr18 is SG crankshaft, check it out

Darn, ok thanks for the suggestions though
How are Sirio engines? Ive heard good things about them. I own a fantom right now, and the engine is amazing, but Ive heard great things about rear exhaust engines, and I wanna move in that direction,

RE: O.S. .18 Rear exhaust
well, i think sirio will be my next choice for an engine,
italian engines = awsome engines, just like novarossi, picco and stuff, those are all great engines, plus sirio is starting to be more more popular in the racing scene so it has to be a engine of great quality, hope this helps, as far as rear exhaust engines go, all i know is that all you see in the racing scene is almost only rear exhaust engines, but i think it's because the best racing engines are mostly rear exhaust so...i dunno if it's because rear exhaust is just better

RE: O.S. .18 Rear exhaust
team infinity 518 kantana is a .18, sg crankshaft with rear exhaust, non-pull start. This line is carried by RD Logics (www.rdlogics.com)
Dont know anything about it other than they are a Japenese company with similar quality to OS.
The 518 engine is a 5-port engine max rpm of 41000 with a weight of 220 oz
Very good stats if reliable and pulss 41000...could be good engine
I am trying to get one off e-bay otherwise I will be putting in an O.S RG .21 using the WolfPack
conversion kit...
