Ultimate Fuel Questions?
1. I live in Denver, CO and am at a loss as to where is the best source to buy my nitro fuel (and tires actually)? I will have a NTC3+ soon enough and have heard good things about the following fuels ((Byron, O'donnells, Sidewinder - 20%N/12%O)? However, Hobbytown USA (the only hobbyshop I know of in Denver) does not sell any of them! Sux (the only good brand they sell is "trinity monster"...how does that brand rank)?
2. What is a girl to do here? I wish to buy a great nitro fuel brand and stick with it over the long haul (but do not have a source)?
3. How many tanks in my NTC3+ should I be able to get out of a gallon of 20%N/12%O fuel (Byron, O'donnells, Sidewinder, Trinity)?
Thanx all in advance,
-Tiffany [sm=wink.gif]

RE: Ultimate Fuel Questions?
buy online, its probably cheaper where you look...
for the fuel tanks per gallon, there are 3785.412 CC's in a gallon, the fuel tank holds 75cc, you will get 50.42 tanks out of a gallon.....

RE: Ultimate Fuel Questions?
you take the CC in a gallon and divide by CC in the tank,
3785.412 <divide> (Tank CC) = tanks per gallon
125cc tank would be 30.28 tanks to a gallon

THanx Napalm!
So, you and I will each get 50 tanks out of 1 gallon of nitro fuel in our NTC3+'s.
One more question: How long can one drive/race an NTC3+ on 1 tank of gas (on average)? I get mine for Christmas...
-Tiffany
PS Did you get my follow up question to you (in another post) about the Pirelli Rally T tires? Do you still wholeheartedly recommend them (along with the "hard" foam inserts (why hard, btw?). I have never bought tires, but wish to buy a long lasting, well-built, good gripping tire for parking lots and streets...and am leaning toward your recommendation.
PSS Anybody know the best place to buy nitro fuel online? (Towerhobbies charges an additional $20 for sending hazardous materials)

RE: Ultimate Fuel Questions?
Ive ran about 25+ tanks through them, they still have treads, but the only problem here is that no tire I use now, will grip because of the cold, I'll see how they really act when I take my car to florida soon. I would still reccomend them, as they have been the best tires ive used that last the longest
My ntc3 gets about 7 mins to a tank of gas... 7 x 50 = 350 ----- 350mins / 60mins = 5.83 hours
you should get about 5.83 hours to a gallon
I want to figure out how many mpg my car gets, lol

RE: Ultimate Fuel Questions?
I switched to trinity monster on my new engine instead of Trinity Platnum. Not only does the MOnster preform better but it smells alot better when being burned. With the platnum my eyes would get red and irritated. Just thought I would tell you guys.lol
