Default Exaust Question

I'm about to order a CVEC pipe for my car.... should I buy the single chamber or the duel.. I heard that the duel chambered on a .12 dose not create enough back pressure to take advantage of the second power band is this true? if so what kind of pipe should I buy?

Default RE: Exaust Question

I thought dual chambered pipes were supposed to give the maximum power. Might be wrong though.

I think it depends on the engine you've got. I have a friend with a Pro .15 on a 4-Tec and he has a CVEC pipe. This engine cannot take full advantage of this pipe. It's a dog! He went back to his stock pipe and actually made more power.
