What would be the best engine upgrade on a RS4 3SS. I know a lot of people go with the O.S. .18 but is there a good engine that is between the stock .12SS and the O.S. .18??? I would like to get some more power out of the car but without going to an engine that will kill my handling and kill my drivetrain? Also, I'd like to keep this purchase under $130. Advice guys!

Well that is exactly what I was thinking but how do they compare to the stock .12SS?
Also will they bolt right into the car without much modification?

O.s. tr-12 is going to be your best engine for the buck.. Very nice, fast and easy to tune engines.. Thatd be my choice..

y dont you go with the epic 18??? every1 i have talked to who has it, says its great and its only i think 134$ on towerhobbies, and also a direct drop in.

OS .18... I put it on my st and im thinking about putting it on the rs4. A great engine.. started on the first two pulls for the first time and always does.

I would like to get a .18, either Epic or O.S., but I've heard their power will break a lot of drivetrain parts and their added weight will make the handling of the car go downhill. Maybe thats not a true statement?? Thats why I orginally said I wanted to go with a .12 or .15 that is better than the stock .12SS. Thanks.
