NTC3 Clutch Bell questions
I have a NTC3 Plus RTR, and I would like to change the pinion gears on the clutch bell. Are these gears replaceable, or
do I need to buy a new clutch bell? If they are replaceable, do I need to heat up the clutch bell to release some locking
compound? I tried to remove these gears, but they would not budge. Thanks for you help.

RE: NTC3 Clutch Bell questions
Well, I secured the clutch in a vise and applied heat to it to help aid in removing the gears. The clutch body cracked under the pressure. I believe this is a one-piece unit and the gears don't look to be removeable. The replacement unit I picked up is black, the old one is bare metal. The black one fit just fine and now I'm up and running again. Hope this helps someone thinking of changing gears on this car.

RE: NTC3 Clutch Bell questions
The new NTC3 plus has a two speed and the clutch bell is one piece. As you found out you have to buy the clutch bell and pinions for either the Factory Team or Team kits to be able to change gears.
