Default Hpi Rs4 rtr Question

I'm new and i'm buying a used Hpi rs4 rtr, I've seen the picture and it doesn't have a pipe. Do they usually come stock with a pipe and can it at least run without a pipe? I will be upgrading gradually, but I at least want to buy a running car. Oh yeah also it has a triangular shape chassis is this a good, bad, old, or new thing?

the rs4 rtr comes with a pipe, you can run it without one but it eventually will hurt the engine. It will also be loud and no perform as good.

Can you post the picture?

Yes, that car has an exhaust on it, it is coming out of ther rear. It dosent look abused judging by the bottom, because i see no scratches. But that might be because it is replaced. It looks pretty good to me.

That looked more like the rs4 one, because of the rear exhaust, the upper deck, the turnbuckles. The rs4 rtr doesnt come with turnbuckles. I know that because i have the rs4 rtr. The rs4 1, 2, and rtr are almost exactly alike. Heres a couple pics to let you know what it looks like after some upgrades
