RE: NEW TO NITRO CARS
Why does it have to be a RTR, the big problem with them is if they break you don't know how to fix it.. a good and easy to assemble kit is the
RS4 3 18SS
.18SS engine
loads of upgrades
durable
fast at 60mph
lots of goodies
300USD and i got a 20buck off coupon for towerhobbies thats good untill may31
all you need is a controller

RE: NEW TO NITRO CARS
yes that kit is great for starting, it is more for bashing as it is an outlaw class due to the big engine and the rs4 3 isn't a hard car to put toghter, took me 5 hours the first time and it was my first car, don't worry the instructions arn't hard to follow

RE: NEW TO NITRO CARS
Thanks it only took 5 hours, So off-roads are harder to build. It might take a whole week to finish it. 1-3hours each day, 5 times a week. one more question, Can I build the kit first then put the transmitter, servos later?, because I might buy the electronics later after the purchase of the kit. Im on a tight budget.

RE: NEW TO NITRO CARS
yes you can.. all the radio gear go in a removeable tray so you could just leave the tray out and once you get the stuff put it in and set everything up

RE: NEW TO NITRO CARS
The reason i think this is a great car for starting off with is because the 18SS kit includes a good engine and a lot of good parts, this car may not be the most race ready but thats not what it is amde for, this car made for the pparking lot and it screams there and will beat most things there
