A couple of Questions....
Hello,
I have a few questions that I needed to know and I'm new to nitro.
1. Is it normal for the engine to become very hot, dont have a temp gun. but it smells like burning. what can I do to resolve this.
2. Do I have to empty the tank everytime I used it, are the any consequenses if I leave it half full
3. what is the ideal setting for the needle little lean or little rich... I just want a normal run at the parking lot no racing
4. I'm probably deaf tone but what is the ideal sound of a nitro... coz everytime I played around with idle screw it gets louder
5.Last.... why is it that sometimes when the car is in idle the wheels spin very fast even though the opening in the carb is around 1mm.
Thanks.

RE: A couple of Questions....
1 the engine does get very hot, try spitting on the engine head. if the spit evaporates right away, its alittle hot, and if the spit just sits there, its too cold.
2 no, just make sure you don't leave gas in the tank too long, any more than a couple weeks and the gas might be bad.
3 keep it alittle rich, symptoms of it being lean is when the engine bogs at mid to high speeds.
4 engines sound different depending on the pipe and the engine, but it gets louder when you mess with the idle screw because you are making the engine rev higher at idle, so it will make more noise.
5 because the engine is reving too high, so the clutch is engaging. if it is doing that when the carb is at 1mm, turn the idle screw so that the hole is alittle smaller.
