hi, does anybody know where i can find novarossi .12 engines in the UK. Ive googled it up for ages, but cant seem to find anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

CML Distribution are a UK based company that specialise in, well most things RC. They carry many different cars/engines/hopups, etc from other companies and supply them to LHS's.
A few months ago i snapped the conrod in my stock .12 and decided i wanted something with a little more "go".
I went to my LHS and they can get ANYTHING on order from CML. They have a CML parts catalogue, and there are millions of engines listed in it. There must have been at least 20 different Novarosi engines, i decided on the Novarossi CX-12, but it was on backorder (CML didnt currently have one in stock) so i went with the TOP CT-12. It is a Novarossi engine - identical to the CX-12 but with a different cooling head. It cost £140, and although it took a while to arrive i am very happy with it. Loads of power and holds a nice tune. See picture!

Unfortunately the CML site is very poor, they dont list most of the parts on the site which they sell. I suggest going to a good LHS which orders from CML and have a look at the parts catalogue. It gives all the engine specs, pictures and prices.

ive seen a top ct12 for 99 in modelsport, not the same as your cx12, but along the same lines. i wanted a novarossi branded engine tbh like the nsr12s3. atm im leanin towards the hpi 12xs, how do ppl find it?

btw what car is that? is it a hpi? it looks v cool

I have the Top CT-12 (pullstart version, rotary carb). As i mentioned previously, it is identical to the Novarossi CX-12, except that Top (and REX), as a sub-division of Novarossi use a different cooling head. The rest of the engine is identical, it even has "Novarossi" stamped on the carb.

If you want a more powerful Novarossi engine, then just about any .12 rear exhaust engine manufactured by Novarossi will supply more than enough power than you require. I am positive that CML have a very wide range of Novarossi "race" engines which may interest you (VERY expensive though). But you do get what you pay for, and Novarossi engines are known for their very smooth powerband and ability to hold a tune.

Oh and thanks, the car is a "Thunder Tiger TS-4n" with quite a few option parts (mostly from CML)
