Get it hotter. Look on this site for the heat cycling method it is far better than the ethod that comes with engines. If nothing else it will help you understand why it needs to be hotter. Also i just got a used ntc3 if anyone is wondering why i am hear, but the guy forgot the tires. Anyway as soon as i get them and get it running expect a question or two from me about the car.

Hey does anyone know about how long one full tank of fuel should last in a Nitro TC3+ with the stock AE .15 engine? The one I have is my first nitro vehicle and I got it so it starts on the 3rd or 4th pull and it runs through a whole tank of 20% nitro fuel in about 5 minutes with me just revving it up. I'm not driving it yet because it's too cold up here in MN. I think it may be running a little rich. But I can rev it up pretty good and then just let off the throttle completely and it comes right down to a really nice idle and just stays there. It's really smooth.
The run time averages around 5 minutes for the nitro tc3+ with the stock engine. My nitro tc3+ starts within 3 to 5 pulls on 20% fuel, with the carb restrictor still in.

Hello every body,

I got a couple of .12AE engines one is brand new and the second one I got to use High milege Nitro because is being with me since 2003.

I will like to modify one of this good reliable engine just for fun. I got a Turbo head on it and got the pull star away.

Doe's any body got a link of instructions to do this or is not recomended?

Thanks.

I love the smell of nitro in the morning, afthernoon, and evening.

Does anybody know of any good USA websites that have aftermarket parts for the NTC3? I need some aftermarket parts, but I don't want to pay the heavy price of shipping from different countries.

Howdy to all...

Bought a Team Associated Nitro Tc3 Plus Saturday (before picture on the left)...Broke it in and ran it like a bat out of hell on Sunday (after picture on the right). It was about 45 degrees the day I broke up the rims from power sliding, I guess...kinda cold, but the stock bling bling rims don't hold up!

What would you guys buy to upgrade these tires/rims to something more robust? I'm looking at these aluminum rims: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1 , but don't know the first thing about what's good or bad with these racecars in the tire department (I'm used to Monster Trucks).

What rim/tire (or foam tire?) combo would y'all reccomend for running in Wal-Mart Parking Lot and where to get them (tower?)?

Thanks a billion
ash

well i have finally put together my tc3 factory and i have to say that this is one of the best responding cars that i have driven so far. i have a os 15 cv-rx and i broke it in today with only a few hangups. i have one question though. i have not been into this hobby for aobut 5 years now and i have the new foam tires. i am getting horrible grip with these and i dont know why. mabee its the parking lot itself or the tires? and man is this thing fast i have never ran a nitro with a two speed and this thing blisters accros the parking lot that i ran it in. well i just wanted some feedback on the tires and to say that this car is the shiznit.

Hi guys,
I am getting into on road racing and bought this a used Ntc3 on Ebay. A couple of my buddies are experienced racers and talked me into getting this one. they said the engine alone was worth the price I paid for this car. Have a look and tell me what you think.

That looks like a good deal, especially for the price. The seller said that they only ran 1 gallon of fuel through the engine. If they took good care of the engine, it should have plenty of performance and life left.
