RE: Offical nitro tc3 thread
Hi guys, just wondering, any one here competes with your NTC3+ or NTC3? What type of tires do you use, foam or rubber? Have you won any prize?
Here in my town there's a RTR category, so I plan to run with my tc3+ soon, maybe I'll beat some duratrax's GP2 easily hehehe

The new electric prototype that is belt drive is electric and called the tc5 and there is one picture of it on rc caraction. Also if youlook somewhere in the caraction book you can see all the tracks in cali.

Hey i have a question, I have a TC3+ basicly stock with the carbon upgrade. I was playing with it in the parking lot, and whenever I would hit second gear, the car would just spin out. I also found out what you guys were talking about with the crapy stock tires, My rear tires are shreaded. Any help would be great. This is my first RC car beside a walmart one. TIA

RE: Offical nitro tc3 thread
It might be out of tweak. Meaning the tires are not push the same weight on the road surface. So when you turn the car the rear torque is more on one side than the other. causing spin outs.
find some one with a tweak station and it should help

RE: Offical nitro tc3 thread
I have a NTC3 that does not shift. I bought the car used, but I have completely rebuilt and cleaned the car from the ground up. (I have been racing gas and electric cars for 20 years.) I have adjusted the transmission clutch shoes exactly to AE's instructions and I have backed the screws out as much as 4 turns to no avail. I am using a freshly "blueprinted", ported, and polished OS .12tr. Any suggestions?
Thanks

RE: Offical nitro tc3 thread
welcome to the ntc3 post. well did u set the 2 other screws correctly the ones that pushes a ball. are ur 2 gears mesh ok last time my 2nd gear wasnt engaging check that. make sure ur engine has been broken in. and it is a transmision that can barely feel or hear shifting.
