Default will a fantom .18 fit in a 4-tec?

will a 05 fantom .18 fit in a 4-tec?
what modifcations will i have to do?
will i have to cut the crank?
if so it would be better to get a engine from a tmaxx right?

order it with the short crank and it will fit fine, other than needing a new maifold the exhaust will be fine to

ok i was reading the fantom site

i have a 03 fantom .15 in my xxx-nt and i keep destroying trans gears so i cant imagin a 05 .18 [sm=lol.gif]

would it work out better if it was a rear exhaust or side exhaust
my guess is rear exhaust
what carb would work out better slide or rotary?

Rear exhaust is more powerfull, for onroad slide carbs are better

ok thanks i thought that the guy at the lhs said that the slides were better of on road purposes.

why is that??

Slide carbs offer better response in lower rpms... vs rotary carbs which offer the best response in the mid-range rpms.
