This question must have been asked a million times. Well supposedly the CD3 is a beefier version of the NTC3, so technically it's better right? Well the info on the CD3 is spotty at best and the parts supply is even worse. Now when it comes to a deal, well it's hard to beat what OFNA throws in with their package.

The NTC3 is proven as a basher and a racer and if you can't find TC3 parts at your LHS then they are in the vast minority. As to the popular choice, well the NTC3 was just named [link=http://rccaraction.com/rc/articles/05readersch.asp]RC Car Action's[/link] People's choice.

In the end it comes down to what you really want, balanced with what is practical. For me that was the NTC3, and it was a hard choice.

The LD3 would be the car to compare to the TC3 Not CD3 but If anything you should buy the cd3 pro if wanted to get a CD3 at all. If You want RTR get the TC3. Ofna is a pain in the a** getting parts from. Sometimes they even forget about mail orders LHS. The TC3 is more reliable, and associated is good with their parts. I think the engine comes with a whit restricor in the carb. take it out and you'll see a big boost in power and speed. I did it with my rc10gt and it was screaming. I run the LD3 and the problemthat have is that drivetrain was not made to handle the powerful Novarossi so I keep uprading.[]

Well you'll find plenty of peeps who'll swear both are better than the other. Personally, I say go for the NTC3+. But honestly, no matter how many sedans you own, you'll find things you love and things you hate about all of them.

Ld3 and Cd3's don't have plastic pinions like the Tc3 nor do they have ball diffs. The driveline is a lot beefier on the Ofna cars. The Ld3 is an improved version of the TC3 and the CD3 is an improved LD3.Parts are a lot easier to get for a TC3 but you WILL break the drivelike a lot more on the TC3.It is a matter of opinion like said before,I lean tward the Ofnas.I have owned both and they are both good cars.

I don't think that I would say that the CD3 is a beefed upversion of the LD3 because both of them share the same parts except for chassis and radip tray. The CD3 was probally meant tobe a take off of the FW-O5R from Kyosho. The LD3 can use all the hop ups that are used for the CD3. Irun an LD3 and it has every thing except the blade sway bar, .8 centex and spurs and also the after market chassis. The LD3 and CD3 are to different designs just like the Hyper GPX4.

Do you use your LD3 for bashing or racing? Is it competitive?

I'd ask which car has more championships? NTC3 Take a look at the parts available at you LHS and go off that. Most likely the NTC3 again. It's good for bashing and racing.

I raced the LD3 unitil the dirve train began falling apart dure to the awsome power from my top engine. When I raced it was very competitive. The reason why the LD3 DOES Not have as many titles as the NTC3 is because not as many pro's race it. Just the word OFNA is sometimes a turn off for me now. They're are horrible with parts for that car. And for some reason I can't get the drivetrain correct. I happens to be a very great handleing car though. After my troubles I'd have to suggest a NTC3.
