Just Another Truck, Ohno (pics)
Since its now consider an on-road, thats why I posted it here. Its a JATO (Just Another Truck, Ohno) but it has the heart and soul of an on-road. Its equipped with an RB modified on-road Mega ZX21 outlaw and its geared with a custom 26 tooth CB and a 36 tooth REVO spur (do the math). The wheels are from the Schumacher Menace but they have been belted. The chassis was made on a CNC and then redrilled to accept the 21 mounts.
I guess the next question would be, how fast is it. Its been clocked at 78MPH running rich and with caution. Im hoping to get adapters made for it to accept buggy wheels and then Ill put it to the test.
MadScientist. Out!!!

You really are a Mad Scientist! I've only seen two of your cars and both are claimed to do more than 80mph! Whats next, a jet powered car? going for the speed of sound?
Thanks,
Chris

It handles ok but the tires look like knife blades when it gets moving and it almost sounds like the tires want to come unglued. Thats why Im trying to get somekind of adapter to run buggy wheels with foams on the. That way, I can keep a tire tall enough and not have it swell the way rubbers do.
Cummins
Right now I have a total of 8 cars and since Ive always been into either drag racing and top speed runs, Ive never built a car for the track. All of them are build for top speed runs but mostly in their classes, like Trucks, stadium trucks, 235MM 1/10scale and so on.
Since some are in doubt about my RS4, Im gonna wait until I get video of it before I post pics of my other monsters.

SerpentKing, that is a very well put together project you have there. I gotta tell you, seein that jato, makes me want to get one and put a .21 in it. Theres nothin more I like than a 1/10 scale with a .21 motor on-board. In case you didint know, the shumacher fusion21 has great potential of being a speedking. They are makin a chassis to convert the car to accept bumpstart engines, and they make some adaptors for it so you can put 1/8th tires on it. I am also lookin forward to seein the vids.

Hey all if you are worried about the tires balloning try Jaco foam touring car tires almost the same size as the road rage2's but they are foam on green rims.just remove the hex and drill the center out of the rim so the stubb will pass through and mount on car.I havent figured out thr problem for the front yet.

Yes, Im still alive and kicking. I sold the Jato about a month ago but I did build some for the guys that run with us. One has a Rex 321p, another has a 21 Ninja and the third has a WCR1. They are still running and running strong. I sold mines to focus my attention more on my RS4s, my first lover, the Serpents and another speed project im working on. MiamizFinest, shoot me and email to [email protected] and I'll give you my number. We will be running in Okechobbee this weekend. That is, assuming that Ernesto doesnt tare Miami apart
