Street Force GP2 - questions
hey guys, I picked up a Duratrax Street force used.. it's in decent shape, I've scrapped the body and given it a new one. I'm debating on whether to swap out engines - currently it has the DTX .18 in it, but I've got a .12 CV-R sitting here that I can put on it. If I do the swap to the .12 will I see any changes over the .18? Will the .12 run faster overall? have more pickup?
also, I'd like to cover the holes in the chassis to keep foreign objects out, I was thinking of using a sheet of lexan and shoe goo to hold it in place, does anyone know if the shoe goo will adhere to the chassis?
thanks

RE: Street Force GP2 - questions
Are you talking about the GP2?
If so that engine was made by O.S for Duratrash. That engine actually very good. In fact its the only thing good on that car.
As for as putting the .12 CVR in there you wont notice a difference with the stock gearing. It will probly be faster with the .18
As for the the lexan cover other guys have tried goo but after a bad rub it will come off. The best way though more work is to drill hole in the lexan to match the bottom screw holes and thread the screw through the lexan.
BTW the shiled is still not a guarantee pebles will not get caught in the belt. You cant stop the wheels from kicking up crap.
