Default Emptying the Tank

I still have a small amount of nitro left in the gas tank. What's the best way to get that out?

I try and drain as much out using the fuel bottle, then, I merely open the top of the big bottle of nitro, lift the lid of the car's fuel tank and tip it upside down over the bottle of nitro. That should get out every last drip. Waste not want not!

Thanks,
Chris

I didn't think about during it upside down. Do you take the lid off or just hold it all the way open?

Pull the lines off the exhaust and carb, and blow in the exhaust side. It'll come pretty quick out the carb line. No messes either.

I'm sorry but what is so hard about this? RUN IT TILL IT DIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm amazed that this keeps coming up and sure enough this will be followed by a "how do I do a pinch test thread?".

If it's running fine then RUN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.. If not TUNE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When the tank is empty................put it away. Just be sure to use the ARO.

Why would you stop in the MIDDLE OF A TANK?????????????????

The reason you may empty a tank is because you broke a part on the car and can't run it anymore or for many other reasons. The easiest way to empty the tank I think is to disconnect the fuel line from the carb, hold the car up in the air a bit and hold the fuel line below the tank and the fuel will naturally siphon out of the tank. Push the primer a bit if you need to get the fuel flowing. Its quick, clean, and simple.
