OS 12TZ 5port with SG shaft in HPI RS4???
Hey guys, I have a RS4 Evo 3 RTR and I am trying to install a OS engines 12 TZ 5 Port with a SG Shaft Crank. I am having a lot of problems. I bought a RD Logics header and pipe, so the exhaust isn't a problem with clearance. I got a Mugen 3 pin clutch kit with flywheel to install on the motor which fits. The problem is with the motor mounts. I am trying to use the 20mm motor mounts from HPI, but it isn't working. The factory clutchbell sits too far towards the front of the car, so there isn't good mesh with the spur gears and clutchbell. Anyone did this kind of conversion before? Any advice would be helpful.

you best bet ould have been to get the hotbodies centax and motor mounts, 40 for the centax 15 for the mounts. your going to need to find adjustablre engine mounts, wolfpack radicals makes some so does ofna

hpi makes a set of mounts that will work i used them with my car same motor and works fine i just changed out the throttle linkage. awsome engine
