RE: duratrax street force
I had one of these a few years ago and it was without a doubt the worst vehicle I have ever owned. I would not recommend this car.

RE: duratrax street force
i had one as my first nitro car, it almost made me quit rc it was such a piece of crap, in the end i had put 400 dollars in it of just replacement parts, i never got to drive it for more than 5 minutes, the engine would never tune right, sometimes it wouldnt start, the plastic was so brittle that if you hit a rock, BOOM 2 shoctowers and a a arms are broken, after all that crap i could only sell it for 80 bucks and that included a mx3 radio

The Team Associated NTC3 RTR and HPI RS4 RTR or SS are both much better vehicles. The Ofna LD3 is also a good choice but parts are limited.

Streetforce can be nice at best -and that is it... whereas AE and HPI make very good products with infinite growth via parts, support and overall quality built in.

hpi rs4 evo 3 (since the ss you have to biuld and your new)
street force well?-it is VERY fast has a stress-tech 1-year warranty, aluminum pipe, bigger motor, and looks nice but its really up to you just talk to your lhs or owners of the cars, hows that sound?

that anodizing faed off of everything after about 12 runs, and the body would never fit just right, and stripping those crappy pulleys was a nightmare especially in the center

Hi
Did you guys know that the Duratrax Street Force GP2 is actually an HPI car. Duratrax bought the rights to one of HPI's older RS cars, unfortunately there not building them out of the same quality materials. So if you brake parts on it buy the HPI version's instead.

Well I have to say that my very first nitro car was The street force Gp...i tip my hat to duratrax for throwing a good car together. Ive seen how a lot of the R.c car drivers handle there stuff and its not pretty. Mine lasted a long time. Drove hard and strong. But you can only do soo much with a car like drive it around. this was like 3 years ago. So for christmas i got the Street force GP2 and wow looks to be another good car and i think ill enjoy this one more because i understand basic principles on driving and operating these. The car says all over it that the parts are stress free and have a full line of replacemnet.Seems like the total opposite quality wise of what you guys are saying.

I am the first to admit it when I buy crap. If I were to buy a GP2...I doubt I could convince myself that it is anything other than human excrement fashioned into resembling an RC Onroad Vehicle.
But to give credit where it is due the GP2s .18 engine is very nice and very powerful but thats because O.S makes it for them.

I agree with others, the SFGP is good, but the HPI Evo 3, NTC3 RTR, and Ofna LD3/CD3 RTR are so much better. Ofna parts aren't limited as it depends what your LHS can get. I can get them without a problem.
