First Road Car??
Hi, though I recently bought an E-zilla to go with my Savage.., it recently occurred to me that a road-car would be fun - given my particular circumstances(no cool off-road places nearby, but there is a nice paved RC track in a beautiful park.. Go figure.) So I'm thinking of selling the E-zilla and getting an on-road car. I've been VERY satisfied with my Savage, so I'm rather pro-HPI. They are of course a bit more expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for(in HPI's case - quality and durability). I was surprised to see that "bashing" is also an on-road term - I think that's most likely what I'll be doing. Like I said, the paved track in the park, and maybe a paved parking lot here and there.
Anyway, can somebody give me the basics on the RS4's(Rush?, Evo?, 18SS..) Also, here where I live in Germany, Kyosho is a pretty big brand, but I don't see much about it in the States. How's the FW-05 from Kyosho?
Are there any other good options given my interests?
Actually, I guess I'm really just thinking out loud and want to be convinced that getting an HPI is worth the extra money over cheaper alternatives, and is basically - as I already assume - an awesome car..
I live in Germany, and want to spend - assuming I get around to selling the E-zilla - max €350 RtR - though spending less would of course be great. Don't want a kit at this stage, as I'm sure the guys at HPI can do it better than I can.. Already got a Rotostart with the Savage, so don't need one of them.... Dam! This hobby just gets more expensive......
