Default Can a pull start TC3 be started with a bump starter?

I recently picked up a nitro tc3 on ebay with a pull starter. Can I use a starter box to start it with out changing the engine mounts?
Thanks

yes it can and if you now have a tarter box you may want to take off the pullstart and pullstart backplate and invest in a real backplate for the engine. it just makes the engine a bit faster because it isnt turning the starter shaft or the one way bearing

Most stock engines have no available blank blank back plates and most of the have a crank shaft with a nub on it so your stuck with that pull-start. Now if you get a starter box and you plan on upgrading engine you can stick a nice rear exhaust non pull .12 in there and run what its meant to have, not this .18 fad. Honestly very few of you have seen what a real .12 can do around here.

ASSOCIATED MAKES A STARTER BOX SET UP FOR THE TC3. BECAUSE THE FLYWHEEL IS AT THE REAR OF THE CAR SOME OTHER STARTER BOXES WON'T WORK WITH THE TC3. I KNOW , I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY.

You can get an universal starter box so that you can use it with a different car in the future

MOST UNIVERSAL STARTER BOXES WILL NOT WORK WITH THE TC3. YOU NEED A BOX THAT HAS THE WHEEL SLOT AT THE REAR OF THE BOX. I BOUGHT TWO UNIVERSAL STARTER BOX'S AND NEITHER ONE WOULD WORK WITH MY TC3. LOOK AT THE ASSOCIATED STARTER BOX FOR THE TC3 AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. MOST UNIVERSAL BOX'S HAVE THE STARTER WHEEL SLOTS CLOSE TO THE CENTER OF THE BOX.

I use a Venom Racing universal starter box on mine and it works great. It is my first started box and I have been impressed with it so far.
