That totally sucks. Considering an R40 kit cost $250+ and the electronics and engine another $300+, you probably lost about $600 or $700 worth of stuff! Those guys should be taken out and buried up to thier necks in fire ant piles! (The scene of Owen Wilson having to dig himself out with Jackie Chan's chopsticks in Shanghai Noon comes to mind.)

The BARCAR car club runs a very good race so get yourself and all your fellow racers to come out for some great competition. This is for being the region 1 roar champion. Handout transponders are available. There is a regular club race the 24th so come out and get ready for the big two day race.

ive been there and its not as big as it looks in the pictures, plus every day except race day, there are kids riding bikes on it, running on it, and playing with toy cars on it. i like rcmadnesses track better, not to be dising it or anything, its just my opinion

yeah i've been there before, but a real race has not been run there since last outdoor season, that's why this saturday they'll be bringing it back up to racing condition. I just put pictures up to show what the track looks like. Kids have been using toy cars on it because since barcar first left nobody held anygood racing or any at all over there, it was a practice track. No rc track looks as big as it does in the pictures. I'm just trying to spread the word of where and when the region 1 roar championships will be held, nothing else.

Yeah FRR site is down, but I hear most are coming up. I'll definately bring it with 8th as I been running my 8th on this track extensively. There is less breakage too unless hacks are running. The R40 needs to be setup now that I have the oneway and 4 gear spider diff in the rear. The R40 needs a setup gauge system and body for me to run as I have some parts. The 8th needs a body, INS box, tires and parts...well...I can run without much as I have no issue.

Sab i'll be coming up there this sunday and for the region 1 champs so watch out, just joking, for your r40 set-up i know one that i used there for the barcar races last season with the onewy and 4 bevel gear diff, so if you need any help with that setup holla at me when I'm on the track. I will have my gauges. Also i'll have those parts that I was telling you about including the light weight chassis. I'll hook you up so don't worry about buying a lot of 1/10th parts before the race. If you break just come to me.[:-] As for the bodies, your gonna have to deal with that one.

S'all good. IT seems we have bad weather our way. Saturday is my sister's Bday so maybe Friday if I get out early I can go running a bit early. I still need a .12 pipe to bring out the .12TRs true power. A friend of mine is bringing me an engine and pipe though. The 8th is set as I have parts there. For tires...I hope the others come by so I can buy some.

Hope it doesn't rain this sunday, I've decided never to listen to weathermen anymore, they get paid to make an educated "guess" on what tommarrows day will be like. It's all Bull. LOL. For now on I go with My own "conscience". How ever your supposed to spell that word.[:-][] Come on BARCAR.[:'(]

How is the tire wear at Bridgeport I forgot over the years. Barcar puts compound on the track.

I ran there without any compound on my tires. They hook really well unless there is lots of dirt on the track, and they barely wear down. I suggest 37s or 40s as there's no need for 35.

Great fun today D. I got some goodies after I left. Now my r40 has it's own servo so I wont have to keep swapping. All I need now are tires and I'll be good. I made a post here :
