Default ntc3 shocks

im rallying my ntc3 right now and abusing it like hell on the offroad course. its gonna start raining soon and i dont intend to just sit around during winter

which shocks would be better at handling abuse, seriously bumpy roads, and maybe a few flips- the plastic ones or upgraded aluminum ones? would any of them be okay to run on light drizzles and a little rain?

i need schocks that are a little longer than the stock ones. guessing around 5-15mm more than the fully extended stock ntc3 shocks.

thanks

The shocks from the older rc 10 ds are a hair longer. I'm pretty sure you can get them still. They are the same as the front buggy shocks , but they have a bladder in them to shorten the travel. B3 fronts may also be the same.

in my offroad type/raining conditions that i plan to run on, would it be better to get plastic or aluminum front buggy shocks?

Aluminum are always better. They work alot smoother. The wet won't do anything. We used to have a water happy guy at our buggy track, we might as well have run in a hurricane. My aluminum shocks held up fine.
