Default Could someone tell me how to remove this part

I believe it's called the wheel hub.The previouse owner has got some kind of epoxy or something on it and that may be what's holding me up.It's the nylon original and it's stripped and also stripped the rear wheel.There was a pin in it also i did get that out,hpi-rs4-rtr3,thanks

just get a flathead under there and pry it up, its suppose to just pop off

Yeah thats what i thought cause what ever kind of epoxy this dude put on there is why i think it's giving me such a hard way to go,thanks i appreciate it.

If it's being replaced then just cut it off with some side cutters.

Well i was thinking about trying to salvage it actually,possibely filing it back to an octogon shape.Think it's possible?

If you file it it'll be sightly smaller and more likely to strip another wheel. I would just replace it, not like it's going to cost much.
