Default Hpi Nitro Rs4 3

Hey Guys,

I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to post this, but please forgive me I'm sorta new to this site. Anyways, I finally got my camera back from the shop today after 3 months of being without it. I had to try it out, and it works pretty good. I just finished cleaning my chassis for the winter, so it's all ready to go for next summer. YES the car is a driver, it doesnt just sit on a shelf, I just clean it very thoroughly (takes 4-5 days). Well enough talk, here are the pics. This summer I installed a new gas tank, carbon fiber upper deck, and a racing clutch. Runs pretty quick now. Any comments or suggestions, feel free to post.

Looks good!!
I like the carbon Fiber upper deck, but don't like how you lose the electronic box and leave it all open to the elements.
You should think about a recargeable battery pack.
Is that the hpi t-15? I got the 18SS, way faster!! You should think about the OS .18, Its supposedly crazy fast!

Whats up with the clear plastic in front of your exhaust?

i would get some heavy duty outdrives if u get a new engine, and maybe some better shocks.

ps. i dont think the car will go that fast withought any wheels.

Thanks for all the replies guys. To answer some questions: The plastic in front of the exhaust is a piece of lexan to protect my pipe from getting chipped and dented with stones flying off the wheel. Also, I'm quite happy with the T-15 engine as far as power goes. Sure the .18 engines put out more power, but it's not like I'm going racing or anything. If this engine were ever to die on me, I'm sure I would replace it with the .18. Lastly, I really don't like how my electronics are all exposed to the elements either, when you use the carbon fiber upper deck. But it really should't hurt anything, because I only drive when it is nice out. Now a quick question for you guys, why should I bother to cover up the receiver? I understand that dust and maybe some dirt may get onto it, but that shouldn't effect it in any way. As stated above, I don't drive through puddles or through the rain so it should be fine. BTW this winter I'm going to upgrade the suspension with new shocks, turnbuckles, and sway bars. I may also get some other goodies to go along with it.

If it will make you happy here are some shots with rims

Looks awesome!! Would you be willing to discribe in brief how you did the 'NOS' bottle, the pieces you used and the decal? I had the thought to do one for my sons N.RS4 and just never have.[>:]

Car looks great! My RS4 3 Evo is coming along, maybe it'll be exciting enough to post pictures of soon. Trans Am body looks awesome too, if HPI offered a 1:10 Scion tC body I'd do a duplicate of my 1:1 scale too.

Bah, a balloon looks hideous in my opinion. Sure it does the job, but I'm not to keen on the aesthetics of it. Maybe if I can find a receiver cover I like I may buy it, but for now I'm going to leave it out in the open, it's not like it's an expensive Spektrum receiver or something. I will definitely try and get you guys some more pics once I get everything going again, as well as the real car running for the summer. Thanks for all the comments.
