Fusion .21 drag car
Hey guys , I use my fusion mainly as a drag racer. I need some help with TRACTION. I HATE having to feather the throttle for the first 20-25 feet. I was thinking of installing some CRC 35mm foams on all four corners. Is it possible , will they fit with some R12 hubs ? I was thinking about buying the high speed clutchbell also. Would this kill the bottem end with a stock motor ? Thanks for the info in advance

Dont get the highspeed bell because you wont be able to reach that speed in a dragrace before it is over and plue you will lose acceleration. Get the high acceleration bell if your dragracing so you will be able to take off very quickly and still have a high top speed. If you install the 35mm tires, make sure you have the spacer or they will rub against the hubs.

toytech, I would take any advise from ProRCRacer very serious. NitroHead5300 also has a sick looking Fusion that Im sure can be used for dragging. I've seen a lot of people on here talk about fusions but they seem to be the only ones that really know anything about it.

i dont know much about the specifics of the fusion, but this can apply to any drag car, if you want good traction off the line go with the widest foam tires you can fit, and if thats not enough soften the rear springs a bit. oh and if you will be using this for drag and drag only, locking the diff is a good idea

Silent echo, softening the springs on any car used for drag racing will not help you on off-the-line takeoffs. Dragsters have a solid rear end and when u pull the throttle, the rear doesnt squat down, it just goes. The rear springs on cars used for drag should be very stiff so that you get a more solid takeoff.
