Default RS4 RTR problems?

I just bought a used RS4 nitro car. (.15)
Anyway i go to start it, prime the fuel and it just goes full throttle and dies? I tried adjusting everything back to stock settings, no change it keeps doing the same thing. So i adjusted the idle. No change. So i adjusted the throttle trim. No change. EVERY time i pull start it it RUNs and the DIES the exact same every time.
Throttle linkage looks fine? I don't have a clue what the problem is?

No if i prime the fuel and give the cord a pull it starts right up and revs fast and then automatically cuts off.
I took off the air filter and looked in and the thing was WIDE open. Isn't their only supposed to be 1mm until you pull the throttle THEN its supposed to be wide open? Well i think the guy who owned it before me didn't know anything. So i took it all apart including the servo because when i pull the trhottle it wants to CLOSE the opening? ISn't that backwards. Shouldn't when you pull the throttle it OPENS it?
Thats how ALL my other nitro vechicles are. This thing is all messed up?

k, throttle should be open 1mm, you need to adjust your linkage if its open that much, and center your servos, also, if the servo is going the wrong way, reverse it, look in your radio manual, it will tell you how

Thanks for the help so far guys. I will take a look on how to reverse my servo after work today. I think i've tried just about everything to get it to go the other way? but i'll look in the manual. last night i took the servo apart thinking maybe something was wrong but i couldn't find anything. I adjusted the linkage but the servo is DEFINATELY going the wrong way!

The r3everse switch on your remote could be the issue...swith it the other way. It is on the front leading edge of the remote
