Default Parking Lot Race Cones

My buddy and I recently got ourselves some nitro race cars and we've been looking all over the place for some decent turn markers. I know that there are some fairly low profile cones out there (almost like plastic saucers) that the cars would be able to drive over without either moving the cone or flipping the car over, but I just can't seem to find them. I've tried searching for "parking lot turn markers" "bump cones" "saucer cones"... everything, but I just can't find them. All I get are large traffic cones and field markers.

Anyone know what they're called? Where's a good place to get them?

We found that the disks will slide so you'll have to keep moving them back and they can be hard to see. We have actually cut out 2ft by 5inch pieces of carpet and painted them a bright color. We turned them upside down so the carpet itself actually gets a good hold on the pavement and they are pretty big so they're easier to see. You can still move them but 90% of the time you go right over them. We outlined an entire 80ft by 30ft course by spacing the carpet strips about 2ft apart and you can still space them pleanty further.

I have 24 Losi orange saucers and 4 mini cones and we just started laying tracks in the parking lot.
We can't get a decent lay-out yet. It is always too easy or too hard, not a fn track yet.

Does anyone has a great layout or design for a parking lot track. How do you dispose your markers?

Any help would e welcome.

BTW we have 4 RS4 3 (2evos, 18ss and 12ss)

Thanks

Try old CD's and roll duct tape to make two sided tape to stick tem to the pavement.

Another good spot to find the cones is sporting goods departments. You can find the mini-cones and sometimes the disks. They are generally around the Soccer/Football sections. If you find them too light, hot-glue or tape lead fishing weights to the bottom.
