Is the OS .18 a pilot shaft or standard shaft? If its a standard shaft it will fit straight in an rs4 using its flywheel and clutchbell.. If its a Pilot shaft you need to get a new sg flywheel/clutch set up

I run a os .18 tm in my rs43 and it really is a very good match. I use a threaded clutch bell with trx flywheel and shoes with very tall gearing and it screams. Only real mod was making a header out of leftovers because of right side pipe mounting. Oh, also had to cut some off the clutchbell wear it was to long and rubbed on the flywheel, but this can be avoided by buying the right size bell. I think the one from 4-tec will work. Stock cb gears are 18/22 and I am running 21/25 with 39/43 spurs. Fantastic topend and great lowend with this engine/gear combo.

I've been looking for a motor for the R40, will these fit?

Sorry for jackin your thread but, I posted my own and they recommended a very expensive motor, not what I'm looking for.

Here dude, i was having a look at it aswell [link]http://cgi.ebay.com.au/O-S-18-CV-RX-w-11J-Rotary-Carb-ENGINE-RS4_W0QQitemZ250117976932QQihZ015QQcategoryZ34062Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem[/link]

Info should be all there or just check the OS website. You might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere. Also you can get the slide carb version aswell
