Default New bod on the NT1...

So, after getting sick of people pissing and moaning that silver and gunmetal wasn't visible enough on the track, I went for something to wake them up a bit.

Pics don't do it ANY justice, it really looks amazing in the flesh. Will add a couple more decals when I get some. Loving that bonnet shot, hence the new avatar.

That was my one and only last one!!! I'm hoping my lhs will get them soon. The first batch of spares just arrived, so that's a relief, but no stickers yet...[]

GREY & Orange!

If you've seen the new Serpent 720 box....it be sick to do a body in that scheme.
Orange, Grey, White...kind of like the original advertised HPI Diablo body scheme back in the 90's. It's still on the site.

The DIABLO GTR in Yellow or Orange is the only body I can actually enjoy keeping on the car....all others I eventually take off & run w/out. It's wierd.

With silver....you always get your hopes up....EVERY TIME....and then it's like uuugh...$40 buck waste. Doesn't matter which body you use, they just end up looking like blah when you step back and actually drive it.

I'm hunting for a discontinued Kyosho Pure Ten Red Ferrari 250 GTO body....I'll never find it.
Part # 39573 & # 39573-1
any leads appreciated

I'm not so sure about the Dodge Stratus body, but the paint job is quite nice.

The Stratus and Mazda 6 give the best handling characteristics on the track I run at mostly. It's funny, I never used to like it in pictures and I bought my first one cos I couldn't get the mazda, and now I prefer it to any other body I've ever had, that's why I bought another.

Here are some better pics...

Well, my track is fast and long, and just by looking you can see the Nemesis is a slightly bulkier body than the Dodge, also the Mazda has a visibly more streamline shape than either of them. I haven't tried it, no, and my LHSes do not stock it. If it comes in I might try it one day, but I must say it bothers me that it's not even loosely based on a real car, I do like to feel I'm racing a model 'touring car', and not an RC chassis with an unrelated body, but that's strictly a personal complex . I like your Nemesis, but I prefer my Dodge. As for the handling dynamics, you may be right, the Nemesis may be better, unfortunately I'm not an aerospace engineer, so I wouldn't be able to figure it out without trying it, which currently I am unable to do.

Im a dodge stratus body fan myself. I just ordered a Mazda 6 body from protoform so Im curious to see how it will compare. The track I run in is not as fast but does have a long straight away. The stratus body does a great job at keeping the car stuck to the track.

Oh - Heck of a job with that body man!!! Love the colors. Did you use spray cans?

Yeh, masking tape and rattle cans, came out pretty well. Colours are neon red and pure black. Red was backed with silver for extra glow and reflection.

It was easy, honestly, the trouble was masking...once I had the masking tape on in the right place for the red stripes, I just sprayed the black, waited til dry, then removed the masking tape, sprayed the red, backed the whole thing with silver. Job done.
