Car wont start
Hey im new to the r/c car industry and im having problems starting up my car =(
When i bought it, it was one of those ready to run ones, well anyhow i got home and i filled it up with the right fuel that was reccomended by the guy at the hobby store,
I charged my Glowplug heater over night and put it where it need be, so i turn on my remote control, then the car, then i attach the glow starter. Well after pulling
on the rope attached to the engine for so long it jsut wont start.
Anyone know the reason why it wont start im really frustrated.

RE: Car wont start
did you prime the engine before trying to start it? check or replace the glow plug see if that changes anything. also hold the car up off the groudn when you try to start it. if the wheels turn when you try to start it that means there is something wrong with teh cluch and that would cause it not to start. check the idle also. made sure when you look into the carburator there is the right size gap look in ur manual for that. also make sure it is tuned to the factory settings. that will also be in ur manual. it should tell you how many turns from all the way tight the two needles should be. try all that and see if it works.

Take the glow plug out. Spray some WD-40 in that hole. Put glow plug back in. The engine is just new and needs some lubrication. Then hold your finger over the exhaust and pull about 10 times with the glow ignitor. Blip the throttle on the remote and take your finger off the muffler. Keep the igniter in and she should start. Don't forget break in.

I hope you performed proper break in before tearing up your neighbourhood. Seriously, or your engine will have a very short life.
To get 20mins out of a gas tank is INCREDIBLE, you should get between 6 and 8. Adjust the trim on your controller to make it track straight, and yes, learn to tune the engine.
