I have the pro version and as all otheres said the chassis does flex but its not a big deal besides it has alloy braces from the bulk heads to the chassis, so the only flex is in front and back of the center diff.

just an update there was someone here that has a twin powered DM-1 and I just had to do the same, I have ordered my stuff to make my DM-1 twin LRP .28 spec3 powered, I just hope I have some timein the near future to build.

Pape you are the one that told me about the dual brake disc as well and THANKS for that. DEFINATELY post pics of the twin engine build up as you go. I remember the other twin DM-1 thread but no videos of it running.

The scale is a digital paint mixing scale used at work, I work in a body shop. The scale is right on. Joe[>:]

I was going to the test n tune one Sunday but it rained us out. C-Witts hobby shop racers have a good handle on the DM-1 and invited me out with them on the TNT session. They are a great group of peeps. You going to run? I need a better engine too and we got that in the works as well.

No but I am getting a new Xeonon ALPHA motor AND my new Kangaroo should be here any day now. For the DM-1, I am looking at another .28 but in the form of a Jammin .28 which is basically a Picco P3 but this one will be ported as far as it can be with lots of timing adjustments for top end RPM and we all know that it makes gobs of TQ. Heck that motor has made 2.5 HP and 90 oz. TQ on a dyno but at 34,000 RPM's so we are going to try and get it to rev a few more thousand R's and go from there.

the dm-1 is fully tunable chasis so any time you want to try come down to 301 raceway any day of the week

Hi,
Just finished putting my DM-1 Pro together. According to the manual diff oil at front is 100000wt and rear is 50000wt. Shocky oil is 80wt.
I'm stoked at my DM-1 so far. You see these are not available here in Australia.

I very happy with my DM-One MacStar.28 so far during the break in period, it was fun putting it together only thing im not finding a lot of hop ups for it and the same old bodies,i hear that one of the Ofna buggies aftermarket transmissions is a direct fit.

DMOne, nicely done body. If its not too much trouble could we get some shots with the body removed and some particulars on the engine, radio, optional parts, etc.? Thanks

Sorry just noticed that you are using a MacStar .28 which is a OFNA engine, I think...

Hey Guys,
I am glad I found this forum. I ready to order my DM one in a few days. I intend to buy a pro kit. I was wondering, can someone list the upgrade that the PRO has when compared to the RTR?

Thanks

Sparda I have never had both pro and rtr version next to each other but from my Pro kit I can list the folowing.

1. beter lighter T7075 Chassis
2. Alloy bulk head braces
3. Alloy heat sink shock carriers.
4. A nicer and more expensive single brake disk that is worst than the RTR brakes. ( I dont know If Ofna swaped them by now)
5. Unpainted body
6. carbon fiber parts (2)
7. I think there is more but this is what I am sure of

if some one ealse could add more Thanks.

Yea don't forget the Pro version you get "your" very best electronics. Plus the build was probably the best part of the whole kit,
I got it around November last year so it was a winter build
i got to spend some quality time on the build and i was always running into a few xtra dollars here and there which kept things moving. hey have fun
