Default igt, dm1 traction

I was trying to race my DM-1 on a prepared track and I could not get this thing to stick for nothing. I'm running the GRP on road tires which is pretty hard. Does anyone know how to get traction with rubber tires on black top?

the inferno gt V slick wheels are going to be ur best bet for traction, those GRPS are way to stiff and they dont grip unless u warm them up first

OR u can always buy the ofna foam buggy wheels but that will get kidna expensive real quick

That is what I did and the foams worked absolutely best.

Yeah I tried the V slicks, the Ofna foams, and the GRP's. This is a very high speed track(301 raceway in Maryland) Out of the three the GRP's handled the best, but still I'm trying to get more. I heard that someone used Desiel fuel as a tire treatment.

Did you cut the foam tires down? That was what I had to do to get them to work even better without any traction aides.

No, i will be trying some cut down foams this weekend. And yes I a whole day of suspension set ups, even brought a 1/8 set up kit. My car was a total build, so everything i had to set up myself. There is one quy at the track that has so much traction that he sometimes traction rolls his car in the sweeper, but he's so stuck up that he shares nothing
