30% good for any .28. I was always told they run better on 30% than 20%

Since the new Fusion uses a basically Picco P3 engine, how fast do you think it could run ported with 30% fuel in the new car? I am seriously thinking about buying one of these cars.

I'd go for for either 25 or 30%. It will run slightly cooler with 30 but 25 will be slightly easier to tune. You probably won't notice much difference in performance between the two. As for the brand of fuel as your in the UK I'd go for Byrons gen2. Its apparently a very good fuel and should be easy to get hold of.

............I agree with you Pro RCRacer88 I have had real good luck with 30% O'Donnell's in my NovaRossi.28 that I have in my Outlaw Fusion.

...............With a modified Picco.28 on a good day with the topend speed clutchbell I feel confident the fusion will get in the 90's mph. The reason I say this in RCNitro Mag a couple of years ago they ran a fusion with a hot Novarossi.21 engine with tall tires and were radared at 88mph the modified .28 should be good for a couple more miles an hour.

u should run 25% or 30% b/c it is better to run your car richer than leaner. Also, if uve driven ur car yet, can u tell me how fast it goes. does it actually do 80mph cuz thats crazy fast fro an rtr. im thinkin of getting one do u recomend it?

nitrohead, aren't those Picco .28 motors built for monster trucks and make lots of TQ with limited HP like a .21 on-road motor? I heard that 80+ Oz. Tq. can be had with a ported Picco P3 engine and around 2.5 HP[X(]. Talk about a quick car off the line with some hook.

Brent I suspect the .28 picco motor is a offroad motor with alot of torque and hp but I have not seen any results on the dyno yet. However with all that torque you can gear it really tall.

You may have to add a head shim if you're running 30%. Unless you really need the slight increase in power 30% will give you i'd stick with 25%...
