Engine hard to restart
My engine, after it's been running and I let it cool off, is really hard to start at times
I take the glow plug off and spin the motor upside down, and then start priming it bit by bit but at times it takes countless pulls on the starter to get it going
What could this be?
Once started it runs fine and doesn't stall or anything

Check if the fuel in the fuel lines doesn't go back to the tank. That might be a not good sealed tank. You must got air leaks issues or something.

RE: Engine hard to restart
I look at the fuel tubing and I make sure fuel goes into the engine
The odd thing is the first time I start it for the day it starts trouble free

RE: Engine hard to restart
Osiris, I retuned it since the glow plug burning out and now it seems to run good. There is a very clearly visible cloud of smoke etc from the exhaust
Gynaikas, it's a 1.2 volt 1300Mah glow plug igniter battery. I charged it up actually and from what I can tell it makes the glow plug glow red
I am thinking it might be an air leak as well... but it runs fine though, no stalling nothing
Though, when I tune it, especially where the needle is set now, even a 1/8th of a turn makes a fairly big difference in how the engine runs

RE: Engine hard to restart
That "low battery" thing sucks. I always have 2 fully charged when i'm going for a bashing. Now i have 3 The 2 are 1800 mah and the other is 2200 mah. I think they can keep up a whole day, what you think so?

RE: Engine hard to restart
I think I will... when I make another online order I'll add a temp gun in
I was thinking of that Axial one tower sells, it's pretty cheap and conviniently sized:

Or maybe this one:

Seems to be better on paper but it's bigger

RE: Engine hard to restart
They both are very accurate in temps. I have the HPI one and is doing it great. It fits really nice in my pocket and is nice to hold it to my hands and measuring. The axial looks really small and is kinda easy to break. Whatever, your choice But i am giving you 1+ for the HPI one, since all my friends have one and no one have problems.
