Tx Rx Chargers
I have a Tx/Rx charger which puts out 10V and 5V respectively
Can I charge a 6 volt Rx battery pack with 5 volts?
And 12V batteries in the Tx with the 10V output?

RE: Tx Rx Chargers
To charge a battery, you need voltage equal or a little more than the voltage of the battery. For example, a 6 volts battery need 6.5-7.5 volts. I don't reccomend charging batteries with a voltage equal to the battery though. The 6V battery has only advantages compare to the 4.8 V. Why? Because 6v battery has more power to give Prefer 6V packs AND NOT 4.8V. The 4.8 packs exist because there are servos that can't accept 6V and they might burnt [&:]

RE: Tx Rx Chargers
Actually so far I haven't used rechargable battery packs
To be honest, the normal alkaline batteries aren't too expensive and last for ages so I never bothered.
It's just now I have a friends charger and I thought if I didn't need to buy a charger then maybe I'd buy battery packs. But to be honest $30 for a charger + $40 for for rechargable batteries isn't worthwhile unless you're constantly using up batteries which I'm not.
I bought a pack of 40 alkaline batteries for $12 from a place like Radioshack almost a year ago, and I still have a 4 pack left

When I used to race I had rechargable. Now that I don't have the luxury to visit the track very often I prefer the alkaline solution cause If I had rechargable they wouldn't last long with such kind of use!

Osiris, I do all my shopping online. Here in Cyprus shop owners charge whatever they feel like
But it seems I'm gonna pass and stay with the alkaline batteries
