well here's a proto-type custom built crankshaft that Rick of RBmods built for one of my 2.5R drag race engines. We will take this data and make a crankshaft for my Xenon and Kangaroo engines. The neat thing is that Rick is able to custom time the engine crank timing via crank pin location. Rick is now porting this same crank and will add the putty and send it to me later next week for some testing. Gotta love an engine modifier that can MAKE parts. These cranks will also come with a longer shaft so that the Traxxas engines can use the Centex clutches and the clutch nut will be a standard .21 nut so that you can also use a 3 shoe clutch/nut if you want to.

That is very impressive...... could lead to making stroker kits for these engines..... !!!!

Damn Over_revo. Man if you lived here, there are TONS of places to run on-roads and in fact the cops encourage such things to help keep kids and others from doing other stupid things. Heck we've even got a few cops that are into on-road cars now and come out to play. Your people suck ballz for calling the cops to make you stop.........geez. Heck I've seen an EMPTY freakin' parking lot in those videos so what is the hell the problem? It isn't like you were putting anyone in harms way.
Anyways, I've been making some changes to my Pro-Mod car at the moment. I didn't run it this weekend but I did go to the race and hang out with my MD. gang. Here's a video of our final.

Yeah Brent , its empty! in that parking lot the security guy said it was private and needed to go somewhere else, and in the long street in an industrial place (closest house is about close to a 1/4 mile..) theres that guy who called the cop....
Im really bored to have to find places, closest i found that is decent is at 35 minutes from my house....
Nice vids by the way!!

RoudyRS4, you can buy parts for the Ofna CD3 all day from nitrohouse.com They are very well stocked brutha.
Over, I hear you man and sorry that you cannot keep such a good running car at that. That sucks.

well this is a bit off topic but I have been working on a 2.5R Traxxas engine that Rick of RBmods has been busting his butt off for me to get this thing to run competively. Rick has built me a custom billet aluminum piston, new crankshaft and rod. The engine also has his new head that uses a turbo plug button as well and THAT made a huge difference coming from the stock head design. The only thing that is left that is Traxxas is the block and sleeve. Heck Rick has even said that he is thinking aout making me an aluminum 5 port sleeve for this 2.5R next. I should be able to test it out this weekend. My steering servo has been sticking and I don't want to put the car into a wall because of that.
Here's a pic of the engine on one of my many CD3's.
Here's a stock 2.5R to the drag modded 2.5R without fins on it up to and the new RBmods head.

Monday 8th June. I dont have a shell yet so its going to run as is. I will only go for a short burn and small injector to reduce the thrust. If that works I'll work my way up
Cheers
