Ill help you out but right now as is there is no way that car is hitting close to 65MPH with the gearing it has on and that motor, how much u looking to spend??? 90-100MPH is going to cost you 500-700 dollars on a motor alone plus many parts for the car

Hey man, I like what you have there for sure. Heck 75 MPH shouldn't be too bad to get outta that thing either so good luck and post up some vids when you do get it running.

mrbasshead, now man you know if you ran a certain speed, you have to have proof or it didn't. Not trying to start something but that is how it is with these cars and claims that people make with them

I see no reason that the chassis won't continue to work as long as you did get it as flat as you possibly can. Just check for straightness and when you drive it, it should steer and track sraight.

Hey brent, i just implanted the trx 3.3 into my evo+.....i've been looking at the upgrades RB Mods had for the trx motor...i am looking at the upgraded head, the tandum one...have you or a nyone else tried this head out yet on a stock trx 3.3 motor yet? And if you have, is it mostly for a drag run and you need to have it cool down? Or does the extra plug cut down heat alot? Basicly what i'd like to know is, what kind of extra power does it provide and can it be used for a parking lot basher?

Heres a pic of my finished implant.....yea..yea, it isn't a "Big Block" persay...but its damn close....i've been closly looking at the picco's on ebay...maybe one will pop up..

i dont shoot for big number goals that way theres no dissapointment if its not achieved But really, i just dont want to crash alot and i know what driving a 75mph car is like so its a speed i like for messing around.

I will try to get video. Its hard as my photographer usually only comes out when i run my boats, so i usually just set camera down and run with the cars. I need my higher gearing for sure. I ran it yesterday and this is just a mild ported hyper w/ stock carb and its pretty much useless on the stock rubbers with 19/47 & 23/43 gearing.

Balance with the pipe on the left does seem a bit better though as i can drift it around pretty good...and im no drifter.

Unless you have a HIGHLY modified motor, a dual plug head would be useless. The reason for the dual plugs is heat retention. If running a hot plug is a MUST, but you keep burning them up, you can run a pair of slightly less hot plugs.

Regarding the Kamikaze tires, I noticed alot of places don't carry anything wider than 30mm in the rear because that is the largest size you can use in a legal race.

I am interested in getting a set of the Kamikaze tires also. Hopefully they will be in stock soon.

I have a qeustion for you guys, i know alot of people are looking for the 44mm tires...or even the 40mm tires, what if i took a 26mm tire that u can basicly get anywhere, put it on the rear of my car, then put on a special adapter that will allow you to boltup another 26mm tire, so basicly it gives a 52mm rear tire...the step up is the same as a dually on a truck...yea, the weight might be alittle heavier then a 44mm tire...but it would diffently give you more traction u would desire, because lets face it, the people that want this wide tire are the one who mostly bash around with others in a parking lot, or those trying to make their tire stick to the ground with there big block installed...i think this could work, but theres one set back, and thats the balance of the wheel, you might be wobbling down the road....well, i think i am going to experiment with this...ill keep you posted.

Edit:

Heres a quick 3d design i whiped up.., the small hex would have the same thread as a nut and the shaft on the top would be threaded like regular.

It would definetely work...pretty sure the guys that do the truck pulling do the same thing basicly. I myself would not be interested... ill just go to the slicks instead of sticking 2 wheels next to each other.

If gonna be fast, id definetely get each wheel balanced best you can, then balance it as a assembly.

btw...if you have the ability to make the pieces, doing 1/8" conversion is always doable..

.........Hey Fuel Crazy , when I use to run 1/10 scale with big blocks stuffed in them I found a place that sells extra wide tires that should fit without adapters. The place is called RC Market located in Hong Kong BUT I GOT SUPER, SUPER fast service I got my tires in a few days!!!. I ordered some extra wide tires from them when I used to run my pocket rockets. , the brand of tire is called Knack- Reed appox $16.00 a pair. Here is the link http://www.rcmarket.com.hk/ Only bad thing about this site is that it moves SUPER, Super slow.[] When you get to the website be patient when it come up go to the tire section then go to 1/10 scale foam tires.

nitrohead, I just looked on RCMarket and saw the Knack foam tires. Do they have 12mm hexes?

I also see, under the 1/10 foam tires, a company called Xceed that makes foam tires. They have 26mm and 30mm tires. They also have a few sets marked "wide rear tire" and it says they are for a 220mm car or body. How wide do you think they are and would those fit a 1/10 car with 12mm hexes?

the Exceed tires should be at least 40mm wide that was the standard width for the 220 class but I would stay with the Knack-Reed tires because they state they are 44mm wide. Tires should fit I put them on my Associated Nitro TC-3 and my , Hpi R-40 both of these cars have 12mm hex.

FastRS4s, the dual head button for the 3.3 does work but for now it is desgned more towards a drag racer in mind. The dual plug does not aide in cooling the engine off any better than what a standard single button does. The other parts like the rod and piston would be my first mods because you can break either one of those in "STOCK" form.

As for the extra wheel idea........well that has already been done by Over_revo with his 4-tec and it worked pretty good. I am not too sure on what he did to make it all work but it worked.

Ok..thanks for that info...as for the dual wheel thing, i figured someone else has tryed it, but i have the ability to make many of them incase others want it..The perks of running a machine shop...lol..
